About Us

1962: Mr. Emidio Benevelli, Production Manager of RUGGERINI MOTORI leave the company and founds "Officine Meccaniche Benevelli".

1968: Benevelli launch the series CB25 and CB 60, a gearboxes series from 50 to 120Nm input torque.

1970: Benevelli moves to the new headquarters and manufacturing facility of 2000 sq.m.

1971: Benevelli goes international, 10% export of turnover reached (Germany, France, Benelux, United Kingdom)

1973: Benevelli launch the gearboxes series CB80, a gearbox line up to 200Nm input torque.

1977: Big investments on firsts CNC machining centres and CNC lathe machines.

1979: Benevelli launch the gearboxes series 07.44, a 4 speed syncro gearbox line.

1980: Firsts management software and company computerization.

1981: Benevelli launch the gearboxes series CBS100, a 4 speed gearbox line with integrated reducer.

1984: Firsts CAD systems installation on technical department.

1994: Benevelli launch the Powershift series, a 6 speed power shift gearbox for the building market.

1996: Benevelli launch the TX1 series, a transaxle line up to 400Nm torque at wheels.

1997: Benevelli invests in quality with the new JHOANSSON® 3D measuring machine.
           
1998: Benevelli develop the differential mechanical locking option on TX1 series.

2000: The company's name was changed from "Officine Meccaniche Benevelli" to Benevelli Srl.

2002: Benevelli signed an agreement with ALPATEK BV like official dealer for the Benelux market. Benevelli invests in production dep. with the new GILDEMEISTER® CNC turning center with driven tools.

2003: Benevelli became a worldwide OEM manufacturers with exports more than 65% of turnover (in more than 20 different countries).

2005: Benevelli invests in machining department with the new MCM® machining multipallet centers.

2006: Benevelli invests in machining department with the new REISHAUER® gear profile grinding machine.

2008: Benevelli launch the TX2 series, a transaxle line up to 1400Nm torque at wheels. Benevelli signs an agreement with MERCEDES BENZ® (DAIMLER GROUP AG®) for an electric transaxles furniture on a Fuel Cell     project.

2009: Benevelli signed an agreement with CANIMEX INC. like official dealer for Canada and USA market.

2010: Benevelli signed an agreement with SILMEX LTD. like official dealer for Bulgaria and East Europe market.

2011: Benevelli signed an agreement with JM-T Co.,LTD  like official dealer for South Korea and East Asian market.

2012:
Benevelli Srl celebrates its 50's birthday with great numbers, over than 80% of turnover exported in  40 countries!
